your glove?
Many professions use protective gloves when working with glass. Glassblowers and bricklayers need glass gloves to protect them from both high temperatures and cuts. Their personal protective equipment will most often require safety gloves with cuffs as well as protective sleeves.
Other activities also require glass gloves to protect hands from mechanical hazards. They are essential PPE for cutting, handling and maintenance operations involving glass sheets.
All Rostaing glassmaking gloves are designed to meet the requirements of European standards. Our products are tested under real-life conditions and benefit from our experience in the field.
Glass glove standards ensure that your protective equipment meets essential worker safety requirements. EN 388 protects your hands against mechanical hazards, including cuts, tears, abrasion and perforation. Gloves complying with EN 407 are designed to protect your hands from the thermal hazards of fire, contact heat, convective heat and radiant heat.
In the manufacture of our glass gloves, we take advantage of the combination of different high-tech materials. This ensures the best results in terms of dexterity, comfort and safety. Depending on the model, we use aluminized fabric, mineral fibers, silicone, split leather, para-aramid, nitrile or high-tenacity polyethylene.
