The number of cycles required for abrasive paper to pass through the sample.OBLIGATION 2016 Abrasive paper and its attachment are standardized. |
Compared to a standard tissue, under constant speed and pressure , the number of cycles required to the circular blade to cut the sample. |
The force required (in Newton) to tear the sample. |
The force required (in Newton) for a standard punch to pass through the glove. |
The force required (in Newton) for a razor blade to cross the sample on a stroke of 20 mm. |
According to the motorcycle standard EN 13594:2015, the maintains the integrity of the glove following a fall of a weight of 2.5 kg with an energy of 5 joules. In the event of failure, no marking, but warning posted on the notice. |
*The EN 388: 2003 CUT test is stopped at 60 cycles.
If the circular blade is blunted in the presence of abrasive materials such as fibreglass, steel, etc...
... then the
COUPURE test ISO13997 becomes the benchmark for cut resistance.
If the EN ISO 13997 cut-off test is not required, put an X in the 5th position.
The EN ISO 13997 cut test (e.g. F) is compulsory, or the manufacturer decides to carry it out on his own initiative. The cut level according to EN388 becomes informative and can be replaced by an X at the manufacturer's discretion.
Optional test: if the glove meets the requirements of the impact test, the letter P can be added at the end of the marking.
Our glove achieves an exceptional level for the EN 388 standard:

ABRASION 4 sur 4
COUPURE X -> ISO
DÉCHIRURE 4 sur 4
PERFORATION 3 sur 4
